What
makes the difference between an average golf athlete and a top
champion? At Golf: Inside & Out, the answer is found
in the type of training the athlete receives.
All to often, golfers are only exposed to the mechanical aspects of swinging
the golf club. Unfortunately, few golfers are ever exposed to in depth mental
and emotional training. The secret, however, is for golfers to learn how to blend
their mental and mechanical skills together so they can execute a shot without
conscious thought.
This is where Golf: Inside & Out departs from traditional golf
lessons, which tend to focus to heavily on swing mechanics and not enough on
the mental and emotional areas of player development.
Without having a correct mental process for practicing and playing, or
mental drills to help you execute your golf shots subconsciously, you are going
to pay the price with higher levels of stress, anxiety, mental frustration, judging,
and inconsistent scores.
The Golf: Inside & Out training process takes all of the above
into consideration, where swing mechanics, emotional training and mental processes
are blended together.

Golf: Inside & Out Philosophy
- A person's skills and abilities can be fully utilized only through
proper training and practice.
- Golf training is more than providing a series of short term "band
aid" lessons.
- Each student is unique in their way of learning and should
learn at their own pace.
- Commitment to excellence by the trainer-coach and the student
is needed if long-term learning is to occur.
- Without structure and a consistent training and practice
routine, a student will not achieve a skill level which will
bring ultimate mental and physical consistency to the student's
game.
The Meaning of the Spiral
The symbol of the spiral represents the growth, evolution, and transformation
of the golfer. At each new level or stage of the spiral, the golfer grows
in awareness, skills, consciousness and maturity. As a golfer grows, they
come to see everything in a new light, creating a strong need for variety,
novelty, change, balance, and integration.
Developing the Whole Person |
We have to remember that people consist of physical,
emotional, mental, transpersonal, and spiritual dimensions. In order
to assist people to grow and develop into higher stages of development
and awareness, it is our position that golfers and people in business
need to be trained using an integrated model of learning combining
physical, technical, emotional, mental, transpersonal, spiritual,
cultural, and social elements.
